GET READY TO DANCE

Fueled by an abiding passion for classic R&B, Brandy Moore & the Nightcaps have enjoyed playing to wildly enthusiastic audiences throughout Southern Vancouver Island at private events, clubs and concerts since the band first formed in early 2018. A singer/songwriter and song interpreter with over 25 years of performing experience, Moore has appeared in Europe, Latin America, the US and Canada. On her latest CD "Real Good Love" she is backed by a stellar cast of Nashville players including multiple Grammy award-winner Phil Kenzie and Bonnie Raitt's long-time guitarist George Marinelli. Moore's exceptionally warm voice along with her heartfelt delivery of both classic and original material draws comparisons to Bonnie Raitt, Eva Cassidy and Etta James. Sharing lead vocal duties with Moore is multi-talented singer and guitarist Victor Wells who, along with a dream-team rhythm section anchored by Jon Miller on drums make up Brandy's back-up band the Nightcaps.

Wedding reviews

"AMAZING BAND!"
"Brandy Moore and The Nightcaps performed at our wedding in Victoria a couple of weeks ago, and hiring them was hands down one of the best decisions I made in regards to wedding planning! They were absolutely unreal, and I look forward to hearing them perform again! All of my guests are still commenting on how great the music was and telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, especially because of the music. I cannot say enough good things about them. Brandy was a dream to work with. She was attentive with emails and planning and letting us choose new songs for the band to learn (which were AWESOME!), as well as allowing us to choose several songs off of their set list. If you are having a difficult time choosing between a DJ or a live band, or just having a hard time finding a band at a reasonable price, DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THEM!!! You absolutely won’t regret it!! Thank you Brandy Moore and The Nightcaps for treating us to an amazing reception and a memorable experience for us and all of our guests (who were dancing the whole time!). You are exceptional!!"  - Angela B.

"BRANDY MOORE & THE NIGHTCAPS ARE AWESOME!"
"They played our wedding and we were blown away by how good they were. We actually still can't believe it! They totally nailed the funk and soul classics that everybody knows and loves, plus they learned songs for us in different genres and they nailed those as well! My wife and I basically melted when they played Leon Bridges' "Beyond". Forget the DJ -- this will be way more memorable for you and your guests. We are moving to the island in September and one of the first things we want to do is catch one of their shows. Amazing memories!"  - K. Ramdath
